You may have seen some US stars with one of these and wondered what on earth it was, well it's a Danger Hiptop / T-Mobile Sidekick II 2.
A powerful little smartphone offering a fantastic full QWERTY keyboard hidden beneath it's display screen - great for messaging and emails.
Features include a VGA camera with zoom and flash, internet browser, java gaming and built-in speakerphone.
The Sidekick has a rubber bumper that stretches around the outside of the phone for protection, these can be personalised with different colours and patterns you can also programme your contacts to show a picture when friends and family are calling.
You can use the T-Mobile Sidekick to instant message via both Yahoo and Aol using your existing username.
To make a call you can either punch the number onto the keyboard (outlined in red) or use the external controls to flick through your contacts list.
