Weird, unusual, love or hate it, but either way the Toshiba G450 captures your attention.
Featuring a unique and unusual monoblock design, the Toshiba G450 promotes 3G HSDPA/UMTS connectivity at 3.6Mbps in addition to GSM/GPRS and EDGE technology.
Available in a choice of either Black, Red or Silver, the Toshiba G450 comes with monochrome graphics, 2 illuminating circular pads with individual keys for dialing and texting and a 96 x 39 pixel OLED display screen for displaying callerID, time, battery power, network coverage and indicate receival of an incoming message.
But although web browsing is possible, we wouldn't really recommend it with the screen size available.
Included in the package are stereo wired headphones for making voice calls.
The Music player supports both MP3 and AAC audio file formats but without bluetooth support all connections have to be made with a USB cable.
When doubling as a modem for a laptop, UMPC or notebook and connected via the USB port, the Toshiba G450 is charged up at the same time and when fully charged will provide 2 hours and 20 mins of talktime and up to 7 days standby.
Its worth noting that the Toshiba G450 is capable of making both voice and data calls simultaneously and incoming voice calls automatically interrupt music playback, which can come in very handy as an added feature.
The internal memory is set at 160MB without the ability to expand and PIM functions include an Alarm Clock.
